Natural Resources Conservation Workshop (NRCW): June 3-7, 2012
GACDS and the Georgia Chapter of the Soil and Water Conservation Society founded the Natural Resources Conservation Workshop in 1962. Members of the two organizations established the week-long camp to educate high school students on the value, protection, and conservation of Georgia's natural resources. Workshop attendees learn about conservation through classroom instruction and hands-on outdoor activities. Over $17,000 worth of college scholarships were awarded at the 2011 workshop. Rising high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors are elgible to attend. Learn more about the NRCW!
