Group Meetings

Georgia's forty soil and water conservation districts are divided into five   groups.  Summer Group Meetings are held to update supervisors on conservation issues and allow Georgia's Conservation Partnership (GACDS, GSWCC, NRCS) to offer feedback on programs.  The GACDS President, GSWCC Executive Director, and NRCS State Conservationist provide reports for each group.  Other group meeting topics are determined by the conservation priorities and projects in each area. Group I will host the next group meeting at White Oak Park in Dallas on August 4th.  Groups III, IV, and V have held their 2010 meetings.  For an idea of the subjects being discussed in your area, please take a look at one of the following agendas:  Group III ( June 29th, Macon), Group IV (July 1st, Dawson), Group V (June 3rd, Midville).
