  • topics and tour will cover ryegrass variety trial results,  ryegrass fertilization trial results, storage methods analyzed comparing dry hay, baylage, and bagged silage

13-17th, Sunday-Thursday - NATURAL RESOURCES CONSERVATION WORKSHOP (NRCW)

  • at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College in Tifton
  • for rising high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors
  • classroom instruction, field trip, and recreational activities help students learn the basic principles of the conservation of natural resources
  • over $17,000 worth of scholarships will be awarded
  • tuition is $150/student, possibly sponsored by the local Soil & Water Conservation District
  • sponsored by GACDS, GA Soil & Water Conservation Society
